Model Predictive Phase Control for Single-Phase Electric Springs

In this paper, model predictive control (MPC) is proposed for single-phase electric springs (ESs) with the help of existing δ control, which realized by controlling instantaneous phase angle predefined sinusoidal reference a certain controller. System modeling analyzed first to get differential forms state variables. The discrete-time space obtained through first-order approximation. Critical load (CL) voltage can be predicted prediction ES and line current. operating modes ESs determined signal CL provided control. As result, cost function as absolute value error between its reference. Two typical functions such pure reactive power compensation mode factor correction (PFC) are selected simulated validate analysis. It revealed that both objectives achieved MPC Additionally, total harmonic distortion on critical limited about 0.5%, better than other methods.
